Vapor/Steam coming from hood?
Yea i have had the same problem with an 03 audi the steam coming from the front right side. I heard it was a coolant flange. If u look on the left side of the engine towards the back where the catalytic converter is u might see some leakage. Thats were iam seeing it. Iam going to get it checked out.

Well, I finally gave in and took it in to the dealership and they got me good. They say that I need a new radiator, oil pan, and a few other things I can't remember. Luckily, it's all covered under an extended warranty I have, so it shouldn't cost me a thing, but it does need to sit at their site over the weekend because it can't be driven. The warranty company is sending out an inspector, so it has to sit there until he comes...whenever that is.
Until then, I was actually very, very surprised when the Audi dealership gave me a 2008 A4 as a loaner until I get my car back. That's right, GAVE me...I'm not paying a thing for it (other than gas). I'm more or less a happy camper right now.
