Default Wacky Moonroof/sunroof!

When I first bought my 2004 B6 all I had to do was push once on the roof rotary ****, and the sunroof would tilt up on its own. Lately when I push it, the sunroof tilts up, then comes back down on its own. I go through this process numerous times, including not just pushing it and letting go, but holding the **** in too, same result. Goes up, then comes down. Anyone else have this problem, before I give it a fist of fury!

common problem on audis theres a diy on how to fix it. The tabs inside the housing dont touch the way their suppose to., U will have to take out the lights and remove some screws and rebend them back to orignal. It shouldnt be to hard it u know how to work on ur car. Just look it up theres a post in here somewhere about that.

My sunroof is doing the exact same thing....and mine will not only not tilt but it only opens half way, even when I turn the **** all the way.

The "clean and bend" the switch contacts "fix" did nothing to fix my problem. Does anyone know if these swtiches go bad?

I have no obstruction on my tracks and they are greased, anyone have any idea on another fix?

sorry to hyjack this thread, but I felt we have the same exact problem

if the switch isnt broken there's most likely and obstruction... the sunroof along wtih the windows has pinch protection.
