Hello everyone, please please help me with this problem. I have an Audi A4 2002, quattro, 1.8t. Recently my wiper got slower and now, it stops in the wrong upright position. What do I need to resolve this problem?

Please be detailed and keep it simple, since I am a newbie.

The wiper arm transmission is dieing on you. Happened to me. 340 dollars later it was fine


You can "try" and do it yourself but there's a good chance you can break the windshield.

 

Is the motor and mechanism available to view? If so, make sure there's nothing blocking them... like leave or pine needles
