Default Windshield Wiperblade Pressure

So I replaced my windshield the other day, and I just noticed that my driver side wiperblade does not clear water as well anymore.

Basically, the sides of the blades do their job, but the middle (where the blade attaches to the wiper arm) does not seem to have enough pressure against the glass to clean it effectively.

Is there any way to ensure that the wiper arm pushes down the blade against the glass with more force? Something I can tighten?

Help will be much appreciated

No, its all spring pressure. I think you just need new wiper blades.

Thanks for the reply auditech79. But these are brand new wiper blades that I picked up from the dealership yesterday.

If they just changed the windshild make sure they torqued the bolts that holds the wiper arms down. Pop open the hood and find where the wiper is attached to the gear, use a small screwdriver and pop off the cap. There will be a small bolt behind it, make sure he tightened it.
