Default 08 Ipod issue

I currently have 08 a4... with oem iPod integration via glovebox... Sym II Radio. needless to say the CD6 thing sucks and doesn't allow for choice of song or Pandora... I have searched endlessly for option to install something that allows the free play and pandora... Is there anything anyone can recommend. I am looking to possibly use the oem lines for the integrated iPod and add standalone playing and pandora, or is there a specific item that will allow both while also charging the iPod... I want to use an iPhone 4.

I have the DICE i-Audi-r in my '06 with the older radio and no OEM iPod integration. Go to Enfig Car Stereo - iPod XM and Sirius Satellite Radio & Auxiliary AUX Audio input specialists << EnfigCarStereo.com iPod XM and Sirius Satellite Radio & Auxiliary AUX Audio input specialists and look up your model year/radio options. The DICE plugs into the changer port (I don't have an external changer and wouldn't use one if I did, so I didn't care) and allows you to control the iPod with the on-screen controls. I've used it with my iPhone 4S for Pandora as well.

Enfig is awesome, BTW. Great company, great people, lots of helpful videos on YouTube.

the cheapest option i found was a Grom audio cable. i got it because i wanted to use my phone/pandora in the factory ipod hookup. it just connects to the port in the glovebox and then uses a 3.5mm jack to connect your ipod/phone/mp3 player.

here is the cable on amazon
