Default 1st Post - License Plate Frame Front

This is my first post. I have owned my 2008 A4 Quattro sedan for 1 week. For the first time in my life, I look forward to getting in my car and driving. Anyway, I am annoyed cause the dealership put license plate frames with their dealership logo on my car. I don't feel like giving them my free advertising (I already gave them my money as it is). Illinois requires license plates on both front and rear. I can get a plain license plate frame easily for the back, either OEM or not, that's not a problem. But all the frames for sale specify "for rear plates only". So does that mean I have to continue to advertise the dealership on the front license plate forever? I've tried to see if the dealership logo is removable, but it's not. I can't find a part number for a front license plate frame anywhere. Hoping you guys can advise me. TIA.

Total Bummer, we have the same problem in Oregon. Audi has come out with what they call slim line plate frames. The part numbers are ZAW355020 in brushed and ZAW355022 in polished. We have had some luck fitting these on the fronts of our newer cars but they are still a tight fit. Unfortunatly they do not come with any markings or logos but they frame the plate. We wish you luck and if we hear any thing new and exciting from Audi, we will call them on Monday, we will post immediately. Have a great weekend.

Check out this plater filler: http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-...ille/ES240292/

I don't what you've got on your car, but underneath the dealerships frame it should be something like this. Depending how they attached the frame, you may be able to just take it off and mount your plate directly to the filler.

hey guys, im in texas and im having a similar problem, i just bought the filler plate (license plate delete) and im rolling my car illegally lol,

my question is i would like to put the license plate back on but idk if you guys have seen any other b7's like this but they have the license plate on the tow hook ... you know the front bumper has that circle for the floor jack , well there seems to be something (a part) that attaches to that and it will hold your license plate instead of running with the plate with license plate filler, do you guys know where i can get it? i know JDM cars have it and ive seen it on audis. its called tow hook plate holder thats all i know

Mine looks like a standard plate frame (2008 A4) so any frame seems like it would work (I might be missing something). In my case I am keeping the dealer plate on as it gives me the ability to use their car wash for free as much as I want.

Eh, it's cool. Once you've been around long enough you'll get to figuring it all out.
