Default 2006 a4 3.2

Hi I'm new to the site and have a question about a car I'm looking at. The car is a 2006 a4 3.2 Quattro 6mt with 155k for 6k. I live in central jersey and I am 18 years old. I previously owned an mk4 vw gti vr6 and had a very bad experience with it and am looking to move on to an audi. I would like to know how much luck people have had with this model and problems they faced. I am curious on how reliable the car is and I am going to put a decent amount of miles on it in the next year before I go away to college. I would appreciate any info you could give me on this model. I already know that the water pump as well as the drive belt will need to be replaced at 160k. Any info I could get is much appreciated! Thank you

Don't do it. Get an unchipped, unmodded A3 with less mileage if you want an Audi up your alley and you're bent on getting an audi. They've got the best track records out of all audis unfortunately. Knowing what I do I wouldn't recommend any of my cousins in school getting an Audi. If your 25 got a good paying steady job, a garage, and another car go for it. If you dont well.....you know. I've owned two so far and they are not reliable for a kid in your position. Good luck

That's good advice. These are expensive cars to maintain, this one has high miles, and I'll bet it has had the crap beat out of it. If not by the owner, then by the roads.
