I recently just purchased an 07 A4, I know that there's 2 speakers each on the front doors, 2 speakers each on the back doors, and a couple in the rear by the back window. I noticed that the back speakers by the rear window doesnt put out any sound at all, just some bass. Is that accurate? or are the speakers busted?? I have checked the fader, balance, etc. I need help!!!

 

I believe there are three speakers in the back dash. Two that play music from the normal range, and one subwoofer. If you look up under the back dash from the trunk you'll see that there is a difference.

 

i think all you have back there is a sub.....open up your trunk and u can see the housing for a small 8 inch sub on the top of the inside of your trunk
