Default 2007 - no power

Always like to get input on wierd issues. My 2007 A4Q went wacky two days ago. The anti-skid and EPCicons lit up and the car had almost no power - the engine sounded fine at idle.I shut it off, waited 10 minutes, and startedit again. It turned over about 20 seconds before the engine caught and I was able to get home and check engine light came on. Very little power.

Icalled the dealer and got an appointment for this morning. The two icons came on and off periodically and the engine light was on all the time as I limped in.

The dealer said the throttle body was bad and was having one flown in. At that point, they could look for other problems, which they thought there were. They said they had never seen a bad throttle body before, but were pretty sure there were other problems.

The car has 22K miles and is being treated as warranty. Any suggestions on how far I should push them with repairs? Anyone have similar tales of woe?

as far as how hard to push them with warrenty repairs... you might as well and go as far as you possibly can and get the most out of them... i mean thats what i would do!!!

Have them check all the valves and vacuum lines as well as fuel pumps, if they havent seen a throttle body go bad then it could just be an isolated incident or it could be something under the hood that contributed to the problem, luckily you have plenty of warranty left
