Default 2008 3.2 manual pricing

Just signed a deal for a new black/black '08 A4 3.2 Manual transmission with Convenience, blue tooth and ipod options.

MSRP $40,475
Invoice $38,091

Purchased for $34,700

Approximately $3400 under invoice, $5800 under MSRP. I'm sure there are others who will say they got even better deals but I thought I did pretty well. I really wasn't expecting to get a 3.2--I've spent the last 6 months pricing out 2.0s (secretly dreaming about a manual 3.2).

I was seriously considering an 09, and took one for a test drive last week, but the dealers won't won't move on the MSRP because the car is so new. The 2.0 would have cost me almost $35k for the base car model. $39k to upgrade to a package that would have the xenons, ipod, bluetooth, etc. Plus it was only a 4 cylinder and automatic.

I pick up my new car on Tuesday!

too bad you didnt go with the 2.0T

there are barely any options for modding your car compared to the 2.0T

but none the less, congrats on getting your new audi, enjoy it to its fullest!
