Hello!

I wanted to see if anyone has experienced the noise I am hearing from the engine. The sound gets louder as the RPMs go up above 2k and is noticeable at a stand still but also while the car is moving. I have flushed the steering fluid but it made no change. Any advice is appreciated!

I have a 2015 Audi S7 and just yesterday after come back from a nice rally on interstate 83 in Pa I began on near this high pitch noise and even at a stand still with the car just in park the noise is loud. Does anyone have any clue what that might be??

 

I have a 2008 a4 2.0t and mine just starting making the same noise as well. Any ideas on what the cause is?

 

It ended up being the belt tensioner. I had a friend replace mine and noise is gone.
