2008 A4 Quattro shuddering under acceleration
Hey everyone,
My friend is having some problems with his A4. Under acceleration in low RPMs in every gear, the whole car starts shuddering, but only when fully warmed up. we changed the coil packs and spark plugs, but it did not make a difference. the shuddering is more pronounced while under load, especially when going up a hill. I was just wondering if it's something serious like the transmission. No check engine lights come up, and the car makes power normally in every other driving condition. I have a VAG-COM cable, but i am clueless about the programs needed to diagnose a possible ECU problem.
Thanks

Not sure what this issue is. I have something similar happen when my car is in a higher gear and I hit a hill, but do not give it enough gas to kick the trans down. That sounds like the reverse of what your friend is seeing though.
Partial clogged fuel filter? Fuel pump issue? If it was trans related you would think the problem would appear under other circumstances as well. Unless the trans is low on fluid and whn going up a hill the fluid runs to the rear of the trans.
