Hey Everyone,
I just bought a 2008 A4 B7 Avant that unfortunately came without the Xenon lighting package and has the base Halogen lights. I would like to get a brighter bulb for them but i don't have the money to upgrade to aftermarket Xenons. So, the question is am I going to get enough bang for my buck in terms of additional candlepower at night by changing out to the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras or the Philips Extreme Power? If not any other bulbs I should consider? Also do I need to worry about burning out the wiring harness with the increase wattage?

After reading all the threads about the pain it is on this model to get into the headlight unit to change a bulb would I be better off just waiting for one of these to blow out?
