Default A4 Cabriolet B7 Ticking while turning

My A4 Cabriolet B7 has a ticking sound coming from the left front wheel only while turning right. the ticking is similar to the tick you get from a stone in the wheel but it only happens when turning right and going over bumps, it doesn't seem relevant to road speed however does get faster when going faster. I put the car of axle stands and got the car running and it didn't happen so it's only when the wheel/suspension is under the load of the car and the load of the car going along. it happens at all speeds.

thanks in advance for any help.

check to see if the boots for the driveshaft is tore open...chances are it did tear open and got dirt in there and took out your cv joint. Those will click when they are wore out.

Agrees, probably CV joints. Easy repair to just replace the whole shaft.

I would agree. A mechanic friend once told me a way to check if your CV joints are bad is to turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and then give tha car some gas. If you heard ticking it most likely was the joint. You would then repeat all the way to the left to check that way as well (if it didn't make noise turned to the right).
