Hey everyone, my brother recently had a problem with his 2008 audi a4. On his way home his abs light came on (it was rainy that day if that matters) and now whenever he is going forward and applies the brakes through the pedal the abs will lock up instantly no matter what pressure is applied. I don't believe this problem occurs when reversing. Also the hand (e-brake) works like normal (I drove it home for him with just the hand brake/engine braking and timing on some country roads and that is something I don't want him ever risking).

Is it the abs module or abs sensors?

I would appreciate any advice, I only have 10 days to help him before I leave for work and I would like his car to be functional. Is there a way to just disable the abs until there is time to replace the parts if they are needed?
