Default Adaptive Headlight Warning After Alignment

I have a 2006 B7 A4 Quattro, had a front end alignment done today and put new tires on. As soon as I picked up the car I started getting a headlight warning that wasn't in the manual:

After searching online it turns out it's an adaptive headlights warning. Question: could the tech have done anything during the alignment that caused the defect? Is there something that he might have disconnected or failed to reconnect that links the suspension to the adaptive lights, etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might not be related, but my left headlight is failing now as well and I'm getting the left headlight dipped warning. I've had trouble with the lights blinking before and occasionally going out and getting the dipped warning but never like this. I could always turn the lights off and back on and the headlight would work again. Now the light stays on for 2-3 minutes and goes out again every time I drive. Might not be the same issue, but the timing is suspicious.

Any help is appreciated.

I'll take a stab at it. Sounds to me like your problem lies within that dipping headlight now. It may have started to show its face with the adaptive curve warning and now it's failing completely. Is there a way to tell if the adaptive curve is specific to one of the headlights, such as the headlight that is dipping? To me sounds like you're going to have to replace that headlight. It's tough to say if the alignment was a coincidence or not, but I'm going to say it's purely coincidence. Maybe talk to a dealer, I'm sure they've seen this happen. Best of luck!
