Default Adding Bi-Xeon Upgrade after the fact

Looking at a certified pre-owned A4 B7 which has all the bells a whistles but the standard headlights. I am wondering since the model hasn't changed much can an upgrade be done from the standard headlights to the upgraded HID headlights. Is it worth it has anyone endured the cost? Are the Standard headlights decent.

the standard headlights are ok and they will siffice, but a bi-xenon upgrade is definitely possible and can be done anywhere from about $150 for xenon and then good quality bi-xenon upgrades cost about $750 with good quality stuff

Yeah I would like this to stay under warranty so OEM or close to OEM is the way to go.

Also where does the factory balast get placed is it within the headlight housing? Just curious how easy a swap it is.

^^ yes you will, if you short something out I AM SURE they will void you warranty for electrical....

but if you get oem headlights and the proper harness you will not have any problems...you just need to run wires for the high beams

well there is a guy who lives on germany, and who occasionally comes onto this forum but is most of the time found on the audizine forum who makes bi-xenon kits for about $750 shipped from germany and he has sold many many of these kits and everybody has been very happy with the quality of the products and how well it turns out. Its a great deal compared to buying OEM from audi dealership! if you want more info from him i can give you his email so you can try and contact him.
