Any tips for switchblade key replacement?
Hey all,
I just bought my 2007 a4 and I only got one key. I talked to the dealer and they said it would be about 200 for key and another 130 for the programming! I called a non-dealer shop that said they might be able to hook me up for 240 total but it could take all day depending on how quickly the programming takes.
Please tell me that there is another way...I've heard with the older cars you just have to put the new key in the ignition but it sounds like the newer models are a little bit tougher to crack.
Anybody have any suggestions or tips?
