WTF? Are all Audi's ratletraps? My car (an '08) has like 3 or 4 of them?

Is there an easy way to fix these.
Glue?
Wedging little pieces of cut up credit cards into the gaps?

Especially the arm rest---it creaks and creaks all day.

 

Someone quite some time ago, wrote that these cars can be rattleboxes. Mine has an anoying rattle somewhere around the center dash defroster vent. Road surfaces, and temperature can make it better or worse. Also if you let snow and ice build up underneath the trim on either side of the windshield, that will make noise like crazy.

 

Maybe I'm lucky but at 80k on the clock still not a single rattle has been heard in my A4.
