Yes, no offense, oceanwater48, but what does 2wd or awd have to do with braking in any way? There's no reason why the brakes on an awd car would be any different than the ones on a 2wd car. All cars have 4 wheels and 4 brakes and you're never on the power while braking.
On a slightly different topic, what brand do you guys recommend for brake pads? I have to change my rears, and possibly my front pads as well. I was looking at Hawk. They have ceramic ones for like $73 for rears on ECS. Are these good? I want to avoid the brake dust, which is the reason I'm looking at ceramics.
Also where exactly is the rotor thickness supposed to be indicated? mine have less than 1mm lip, which from my experience in cars means I have a lot more to go, but I want to know for sure.
Thanks

I went with Akebono Euro pads from Brake Pads, Brake Rotors - Best Deals on EBC, Brembo Kits and more | Place for Brakes I really like them--no complaints. $85 for the front and about $50 for the rear.
