The TSB went out in June of 07....what are the odds that I have the revised follower on my (new to me) 08 B7 w/ build date of 11/07?

I will probably get in there and look either way, but obviously sooner than later if its possibly one of the flawed versions.

 

I would not trust the follower in any B7. Supposedly they fixed it but who really knows. I'd check a couple times over your ownership of the car if you put miles on it. Every 30k or so. B8's got the completely different engine. Did they really fix it for 1 year and turn around and change the engine?

 

i think i've come across a few 2008's with the problem. So your better off just checking to make sure
