I drive a 2005.5 Audi A4...Everything with it has seemed fine until last night. What could this problem be?
While driving I noticed the car randomly became really sputtery, like not wanting to shift gears and really slow on response to me pushing the gas. I then pulled into a gas station and after maybe only 5 minutes of being there I noticed a huge amount of liquid was under my car (i'm assuming transmission fluid?) I took it to the shop this morning but they cant look at it till later. What could be the cause of this? I haven't "bottomed out" or don't remember any damage that could have caused this. I have no warranty:/

It could be a few different things. Did the engine race but the car not accelerate? Where was the fluid with respect to the location of the transmission. What color is the fluid? Did you check both the oil and transmission dip stick. It could be a simple transmission cooling line or it could be something more serious.

Sounds like coils to me. Any grinding when shifting? Automatic? Was the liquid water? Was your AC on? If so, you will have a puddle under your car after sitting for 5 minutes.
