Are you guys reffering to the ash tray/lighter compartment in front of the shifter? If so I have a question about this compartment....I just got an 06 A4Q and have noticed that the spring loaded trim covered door only opens about 2 inches. I can barly get my fingers in to remove the lighter. It opens and closes fine, but im not sure if it should be opening wider? Any thoughts?

 

No...they are talking about the spliff compartment aka credit card slot. The ashtray lid should open up much wider than it is opening for you!

 

Any ideas on what I may be able to do to fix that door? Ive tried giving it the "ole' giggle and push", but that didnt work and I obviously dont want to crack the thing? Anybody ever had this issue?
