Every time I press the check button, it just locks the speed limit warning on 45 miles, I went to the menu and made sure the speed limit warning is off but it keep popping, any suggestion how to get the check button to actually check on the car?

 

thats actually what the button does while you are moving. do you have an owners manual? itll tell you more info but basically that button sets the speed warning to alert you if you exceed whatever speed you set it at. does it only set it to 45 mph or does it set it to the actual speed you are going at the time?

if you want to 'check' the car you have to be parked or going less than 5mph or something like that. the car should run its diagnostic check each time you start up and say 'ok' when its done. and pressing the 'wrench' button should display distance and days until next service/oil change
