I just put in an APR chip, and have read here that some of the 08's come with a better DV from the factory. Is there an easy way to check which you have?

i have an 08 and when i installed my dv i still had the crappy valve with the thin orange diaphragm i think maybe the plastic surronding the part may be better but the orange piece is the same...and if that fails then ur up ***** creek

 

awe has a better dv
and their are some forged dv's as well.

 

Per APR, the G-Series DV has not had any problems. I would assume that is the version I have, as I have not had any issues with my APR chip.

 

It can last awhile before it tears... it's not instantaneous. But hopefully it won't!

 

yeah, and you can find some good DV from forge and other reputable companies that wont set you back much more than 200, or even on ebay for less the 100 probably
