Thank you, I will work on holding it right at that 2 grand mark and then start working the pedals.

Had the car for about 6 months and the drivetrain has definately felt the wear and tare of a few of those "smiles"

I've always been taught / told to do a brake hold on the car, aka sticking it in first, clamping down on the brake, revving up, and releasing the brake when you want to go. I imagine its not very good on the transmission or the brakes, but its probably the safest and easiest way to get off the line faster with an auto.

^^^ shoulda gotten a manual for that, the automatic works just fine if thats what you have,just a couple mods and maybe it will get to what you want

Your always going to have lag with the turbo. A 3.2 will save all your lag problems off the line but more difficult to mod. Best of luck on new driving techniques.
