Default CPO vs Factory Warranty on an A4

Hi Guys,

any advice on the difference between buying an A4 that is CPO and one that is still under factory warranty?

I'm a first time buyer, and totally new to the car game so any insight from you lot would be gratefully received!

Thanks

Mel

The CPO is an additional 2 years or 60,000 miles added to the manufacturers warranty. It is an extension on the same warranty. All of the same issues and problems that may arise will be covered under both.

If a car can be had with the CPO, go for it. Having the warranty up to 100,000 miles is pretty amazing. However, if you aren't going to keep the car that long, there is no point in having the CPO if there is a cheaper car out there without it.

The CPO warranty is non-transferrable. So the only way you can get one is by buying a car from an Audi dealership.

CPO is a must for anyone planning on keeping their car. Ever replace a $700 CV axle at the dealer? I made that mistake on my B6 model. Not on my B7. My wife puts tons O' Miles on yearly.
