Default Cranking then dying

Okay, so I'm having a starting problem. Here is how it works and details about the car in the past 6 months or so:

1. bought from a dealership, (non-audi) about 6 months ago.
2. Got the battery changed about 4 months ago.
3. got it maintained about 2 months ago: changed oil.
4.got brakes and rotors changed last week.

So... here is the problem:

If I leave my car off for a while and try to start it, it cranks a little, but then dies. It sounds like there is no electricity, but it cant be, because I just changed my battery. I got it to start a few times, but lately, it has been dying more. I tried pushing down the brake and starting and it worked... I have never had to push down the brake to start the car before. What is the problem with my car?!?!?!?

It's strange that pushing down the brake started the car. Have you tried to reset the codes when changing the battery? The problem could also be a throttle body that needs to be re aligned. You should also check the electrical connections along with fuel pump and ignition relay. Last but not the least, this could be even due to a bad coolant sensor. So, it is better to use vag com and look for appropriate errors to have an exact idea of this issue. Hope it helps.
Thanks

Might not be a bad idea to just grab your battery cables , give them a little tug & make sure they are not loose!

Hmmm thanks for the advice guys. Checking the electrical seems like a task that I JUST cant do. I might have to take it to a shop I guess. I think I will get a vag com sensor. which one should I get? I will buy one now since my audi has had problems that have cost me over 500$ already. Thanks!

Soooo I brought my car to a mechanic and he said that my electricity is out which is really weird... Anyone know why my A4 would be draining my power?
