Default Drive vs sport

I have another stupid question, my friend told me when I drive the on S, I am actually using the turbo but when it's on D, I am not using the Turbo, is he just making stuff up?

He is being goofy. The sport mode only delays the upshift of the transmission, it doesn't involve the turbo.

DonT always keep it in sport mode as it will always burn more gas. Just use as needed.

Turbo is always spinning. No on/off switch like Mad Max's supercharger

Turbo is always spinning under enginE load. That means anytime you give it gas while driving. Does not spin in neutral or park wile revving. No fast and furious button that makes you look like you are in warp drive.

And for the heated seats, depends, look on the center console where the heat/air controls are, bottom left and right corners, if you have heated seats you will have dials that scroll from 0 to 6 (0 being off, 6 setting your pants on fire).

That is definately not correct. Maybe it does not feel lie it but it is always working under a loaded engine.
