I was wondering would it be better to just get
a engine management system if I am planning on
installing a larger turbo rather than getting a reflash?

What engine management systems are out there
and does anyone know if a apr reflash can be tuned
for a bigger turbo?

I don't think APR does custom tunes, but I think GIAC and REVO may support it. However, I think there is an APR big turbo kit.

 

Depending on your location you could go with Eurodyne in Ottawa Ontario (Canada). It is still a reflash but they have a dyno and can reprogram/change the program to accomodate different mods. They have another "stage" reflash for a bigger turbo but can't say if its only for that specific setup (on the website). Look for the 2006-2008 Golf/Jetta/Passat/Eos 2.0T info, theres slightly more information there but it should be the same thing.

I think they might actually have the fastest MKV GTI so far..
