my 07 2.0 b7 has an epc light that comes on pretty regularly and when it does my acceleration is almost non existent. cant get passed 3rd gear. code reader came up with no codes. dealership had no idea. any suggestions?

 

Replace your brake light switch.

 

you either have a problem with the steering angle sensor, problem with the wiring to the latitudinal longitudinal acceleration( possibly moisture in the plug) or the sensor is just bad, i have replaced a few, in older ones, i believe that the sensor is under the back seat, then there are a few relearn procedures that you will have to do. you will need a scan too for this. do you know anyone with a scan tool?

 

the brake switch is a possibility as 02quattrokev suggested
