Default Exhaust questions

What would make my 2006 A4 louder. A muffler delete or what else's there? Not looking to spend alot.

I put a K&N drop in air filter in mine. Sounds a little throatier. 50 bucks or so. I know there's folks out there that claim the oil on it can screw up your MAF, but K&N claims they've never seen that happen in all their testing. I just used a shop towel to soak up the excess oil before installing. Haven't had a problem in two years.

A cold air intake like the APR Carbonio would probably increase sound even more but now you're up over $300 for that.

But yeah test pipe or full blown exhaust probably loudest.

I've got a K&N filter. I didn't notice any increase in exhaust sound. Depending how much you want to spend, I would say get a resonator delete and replace the stock mufflers.

So I did the muffler delete and it sounds pretty good! Do u think it would sound good if I took out the resonators as well?
