Few Quick Questions
Ok so I have this Audi A4 Cabrio and I've had it for about a year and I don't have the Audi warranty no more because I have moved. So Here are the problems that are with my Audi.
1st. From time to time my break lights will switch on for no reason at all and they will stay this way until someone steps on the break. What is causing this? a sensor maybe? how can i fix it? Since this has been happening the dashboard has been flashing that my lights are bad everytime i start the car.
2nd. My radio they have fixed this at the dealership before and it has been fine for about umm 7 months or so when it first happened it wasnt as bad the radio station would go into static everytime u would put something into the trunk of the car and than it would be fine. Now its complete static, I've been told it's the antenna booster, but I have never worked on this car myself because it was a new car and I had a warranty on it, so whats the easiest pain free way to fix it any diagrams or where the antenna is located since its a convertible its not on top of the roof like in a sedan.
3rd. this is a minor problem not really a problem I change the oil and stuff in the car myself I worked on audi's before but usually they were used cars not from a dealer, now my car has 42,XXX miles on it and the "SERVICE!" keeps popping up on the dashboard and its quite annyoing just like the light problem I liked when the audi displayed a nice "OK!" when I used to start it, it made me happy and I didn't have to worry about anything. Is there any way to reset the service thing, without buying any code scanners and stuff, Is there a way to do it and if there is how please tell me.
I read that this service should be coming up every 25K miles or so 25, 50, 75, and when it hits 100 it just stops but its at 42,XXX I just recently changed the oil and all the liquids are topped off.
Please help out

As for your lights and antenna, it really sounds like theres a short in the trunk area. Prolly the top mechanism rubbing against a harness.
The 'service' light is most likely the 'service 2' interval where they do the brakes and service emission stuff.
Its because im not with the McDonald Audi bank anymore which covered the warranty that is why I did not want to go into details because it is my personal business, don't want to sound dickish but yeah
I will have to check that out when i have time on the weekend anyone else have any suggestions
