yeah, thats what i was thinking after i posted that... i remember reading a review of the spray on stuff which required you to sand down your lights first, which i would rather not do... and what i think i will do is call the guy that i got my windows tinted from and ask him if i could just buy a little bit from him for the rear lights, and do you think i could use that stuff on the reflectors too? or it wouldn't work cuz they aren't a smooth surface?

Have fun trying to wrap the tint around the curves of the lens. If you have ever tinted before you would know its gonna be a major PITA . You are better off going to ebay and getting the pre-cut stuff. It is made to withstand the elements.

I may be wrong but I think regular window tint would be a waste of time.

I agree with Jason; regular window tint is meant to go inside, not exposed to the elements. That being said, I don't think the curve on the taillights is that bad to make it difficult to apply a sheet of the proper vinyl and trimming to fit. But for the price of that ebay kit, might as well just get that!

As for the reflectors, I don't see why the same stuff wouldn't work on them, too.

It'll probably be a couple weeks (just ordered smoked side reflectors and markers, and next I'll probably do the fogs), but I'll let you know how it goes.

I got the blinkers here: http://www.parts4euro.com/DCShop/ind...cPath=2_47_179 for $30 shipped.

The reflectors from an eBay store: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audi-...mZ230277429223 $44.80 shipped.

I'll post pictures when I get them on.

I wonder how hard the blinkers will be to replace....I like the crystal smoked myself.

The blinkers are supposed to be real easy... just pop off. I got the crystal smoked, but I'm not actually sure if I'll prefer it to the stock... I think the white looks pretty classy on black.

But the orange reflectors definitely have to go.
