2wdBlazer was helpful enough to make that sticky, but i've asked around and i haven't heard very many people say anything about upgrading your fuel pump....

So im planning to get a Test Pipe and APR Stage II (probably a no name test pipe off ebay because in my experience from the last three cars (300zx, WRx, S2000) its all the same damn thing. I dont believe in paying extra hundreds for brand names but thats not the point.


Is it really necessary to upgrade my fuel pump to run the stage II? 350 bucks + installation is a lot for a "maybe"
Please give me your opinions

 

The fuel pump is required for "stage II+", stage 2 is just the test pipe or high flow cat.

 

Stage 2 "Plus" as stated is an addional tune over stage 2. It will net another 10-15 horse. It is well worth it as 15hp can be substantial. Maybe just go stage 2 and when you get the itch later, then upgrade to the next level.
