So, this is my first question, and I am hoping that it hasn't been asked before. Did a little searching, but I am not sure if I worded it correctly and just missed it or what.

I have had the luxury of auto headlights for years now. When I was driving off the dealers lot I realized that I needed to switch the headlights on manually. My question is, can I buy an OEM headlight switch that has auto headlights or am I out of luck? Not sure if there is a sensor that is needed for this since I have never had to manually upgrade one. If so, where is the best place to pick one up at?

ecstuning.com sells the auto headlight switch but im not sure how it really works. i have the manual lights and have asked about upgrading before but never got an answer. i gave up since it is kinda expensive for a tiny upgrade but maybe talk with the tech people at ECS or your audi dealer to see what is required to make it work.

 

I had sent my local Audi dealer an email asking about the Iphone/Ipod plug inside the glove box and still haven't received an answer. So, I am not sure I would ask them anything else!
