how much does a 45k maintenance cost?
Should I do this in my dealer (it is more than 1 hour away from where i live)?
or some dealers or places that are close to my home?

For me, 45k mile was just an intermediate service, I think they called it. It was an oil change and a diagnostic/inspection and I think it was about $140 at the dealership I go to.

 

Yup thats what i was about to say, fortunately mine was covered under the audi care
(where youre scheduled services are covered) but i took advantage and told them to check a fix a few other things that were under warranty i.e: exhaust rattle , since my warranty is about to go out, its probably the last time ill be back to the dealer until my 75k service. hopefully... lol

 

It is just an oil and filter change, for either engine 2.0 or 3.2, plus check and inspect these items:
Brake System – check for damage, leaks, pad thickness, fluid level
Service Reminder Display – reset
Tires and Spare – check for wear and damage, check pressure
Wiper Arm Pivot Points – lubricate
Wiper/Washer/Headlight Washer – check adjustment and function, add fluid if necessary

Engine Oil Filter - replace
Plug with Seal/O-Ring - replace
Synthetic Engine Oil - change
