Default Idle/stalling Isuue

Hey new here but not to audis or tuning audis, Need some help. I have a 2007 audi a4 2.0TQMT6 aftermarket pats include custom short ram intake, forge dv spacer, and 034 motor sports test pie w/ o2 extender to eliminate CEL.
Lately as it has been getting colder up here in NY my car will sometimes stall, but it only happens when i push the clutch before coming to a stop. The rpms go down below idle and the car just stalls all while i'm either on the clutch and in gear or in neutral this is a big pain as it happens intermediately but sometimes its will happen every time i come to a stop, until i shut the car off and let her rest for a bit before continuing my drive. this is truly a pain. Can anyone help me? PLEASE!!

Sounds like internal vacuum issue.... Do you have trouble taking off your oil fill cap whent he engine is running at idle...?

Not sure if this applies or not but when my PCV went bad a couple of years ago I had similar issues with poor idling and stalling. This only lasted for 30 seconds or so after starting.

hey thanks for the ideas. i haven't tried to take the oil cap off with the engine running ill try that and compare the difficulty to when the engine is off. also i wish my problem only happened a few minutes after start up...but it does it all the time even if i have been driving for a few hours, and it happens randomly its very odd i changed the air filter with a new hi flow but still the same problem. i think it might be a boost leak thats causing the turbo to spool at rpms that are too slow and chokes the engine. any ideas?? i need to fix this asap. i want to get an s4 but cant sell myt a4 if it stalls on a test drive...please help

Mine is doing the same. I have an Auto and since there is load on the tranny the car drops low but does not stall. I don't have time to hit the dealer during the hollidays so it will need to wait. I have a CPO warrany so I just gotta get up there.

Took mine in and it was the PCV valve causing my issue. Imagine that I wrote the FAQ on crap like this. Get a BSH valve unless you want to go to the dealer under warranty. If you are under CPO and not factory the deductable will nearly buy the BSH unit. I have the BSH on my VW.

BSH PCV fix sucks. After I had it installed, the erratic idle problem went away, but while driving the car felt like it was going to stall when I came to a stop. Also, it messed with my turbo. I wasn't getting any boost after having the BSH fix installed professionally. I went with the new OEM Pressure Regulator Valve (PCV) which by the way was $15 cheaper from the DEALER, and all my troubles went away.

Sounds like you had a wierd issue. They have to be sure they are sealed right. All the VW GTI guys use this fix including me. Never really heard a complaint before.
