ignacio....where are the chips!?
i just got my car chipped today and holy lord does this thing move.....easily hands down the best 650 i have ever spent it makes driving the car soooooo much more fun
i originally wanted to with the REVO chip as alot of people were talking about it and said it had a nice smooth aggressive curve to it but the shop that did mine was alot more familiar with the brand unitronics. i did a little research and actually comparing with the APR, REVO and unitronics chip you netted roughly the same amount of hp with all of them the difference was the torque you gain the UNI chip, so i went with the unitronics chip and i highly recommend it to anyone who has a b7 2.0
i went to farenbacher in danbury CT to have it done, the people there specialize in porsche, vw and audi and have actually made on thier own a custom chip for the new caymen since apparently theres not a big market for it. they were super knowledgable, really nice, and extremely fair priced they even told me if i ever wanted to use thier vag-com that i only needed to bring in the codes needed to make the neccessary alterations to the car and it would be free

Congrats, had my APR tune for about 2 weeks now, and I know exactly how you feel. It really does make all the difference in the world, its a shame they arent tuned a little more towards this end from the factory, but it really did take away the only legimate complaint I had about the car. (beyond the little things anyway)
