hi guys hope someone can help.
iv bought a 06 plate a4 avant 170bhp model when i bought the car it had an internal fire nothing major mainly it was confined to the drivers door but with most of the interior smoke damaged i replaced everything.
it ran when i bought it but now because iv put new clocks in its in safe mode and wont start......before you say anything about the old clocks in my hast and lack of space i binned all the old interior Doh!!!!!
next problem the car wont lock or unlock from the remote however would unlock and unlock when the key was in the door lock, last night i unlocked it and left the key in to check the total closer and yes windows dropped and went back up when locked, great i thought but now the car locks all doors manually using the central locking but only opens the drivers door and not central locking and worst of all even though the light goes out on the door the alarm goes off as soon as the doors open
