Default Info on 2008 S-line

Hello, I'm a new poster here who just purchased a 2008 A4 2.0T with 6,000 miles. I was looking for a newer model but the low mileage and $20k price was too hard to pass up.

I'm wondering what the S-line package included. It has paddle shifters but 17" wheels. Is there anything else the S-line package includes?

Thanks...

6,000 or 60,000 miles? Either way stilll a decent price. I have a 2008 S-Line and beyond what you already stated:

S-line Steering wheel
Door sill plates
Sport Suspension (some have said this is an option you can confirm my looking at the shocks. If they are reddish brown you have the sport suspension).
Integrated trunk lip spoiler

That is about it. I might be forgetting something though.

Yep 6,000 miles. I was surprised at how low the mileage was.

I was hoping for more in the S-line package but it is what it is I suppose...

You STOLE that car. I bought mine in March with 60K for $19K. Congrats!!!

Might want to make sure it is a "true" s-line. The sill plates and steering wheel should be give aways as few people would go through the trouble of replacing the steering wheel to make it look like an s-line. The reason I say you should check in mine has 18" wheels, not 17s. I think 18 came standard on the s-line. Either way a tremendous deal.

Thanks Rhodes, I don't have the car with me now but I'll look tomorrow at the wheel and the sill plates. How would I know if it has the Sport steering wheel? It doesn't look very sporty to me. It does have the S-line emblem on the grill and paddle shifters though.

I think you were fooled by the s-line badge on the front...

I could be wrong, but I believe that all 08's came with the s-line exterior package, but not all of them had the suspension and interior badges. Also, the paddle badges aren't unique to the s-line either. I have an 08 I just bought 3 weeks ago and it has paddle shifters as well. I have the automatic with tiptronic which comes with paddle shifters. I also have a nifty s-line badge on the front but, just like you I have 17" wheels. Sorry bro, you still have a great car that you got for an insane! price, but it doesn't sound like an S-line.

Geebus, it appears you are correct. I saw another 08 on the lot with 16" wheels and cloth seats so I assumed the 08 I bought with the 17" wheels, walnut trim and leatherette was indeed and S-line.

Oh well...I am still happy with the car I bought and the price I got it at.

That si correct, in 08 all A4s got the s-line bumber and badge. The steering wheel on an s-line a three spoke with a little s-line badge on the middle spoke. Sounds like your's is regular A4. As you can tell there isn't a whole lot of difference and for that price who cares! Enjoy, these are great cars.
