Either way, it is a fantastic bargin. And the Sline front grill is better looking than the standard grill regardless if the rest is Sline or not.

Enjoy!

From what i understand there was a "special edition" that came out towards the end of the model year in 08 to pacify the masses til the new b8 in 09. Ive seen quite a few 08 cars, mine included, that have the s-line front bumper, paddle shifters, and the 17 inch "Y" spoke wheels. But i could be wrong...

A couple of you mentioned s-line badges ON the paddle shifters? I have a true S-line, steering wheel and suspension and all, but all I can see on my paddle shifters are the + and -. Are yours different than mine? Can you send pics if they are, I'm very curious about this. If you guys have a cool s-line badge on the paddles themselves and I don't, I'll drive my car into a wall, I swear. )

I think the post you are referring to was just an error. I think they meant to say "paddle shifters" are not just on the s-line. My paddle shifters are also just "+" and "-".

My true S-Line cabriolet doesn't even get the S-Line badge on the steering wheel.

Default "S" line badges

Just the "S" line badge on the grill here, not on the paddle shifters

Will it be dependent on the reginal sales package, i mean 18" OEM wheel? None is observed for Sline with 17" wheels in APAC region.

Oh yeah, it most definitely depends on the country. In the US everything is always in packages, and it there's almost no variety and can't even buy normal options, you have to order the whole package. I think this discussion mostly refers to the US market, where there's two levels of S-line, One with only optical tune on the outside, and the other with the sports suspesion and steering wheel and 18" wheels, which is what people usually call the "true s-line".

What really annoys me is how for example my current car has pretty much all the options available, but it doens't have parking sensors (not that I need them much) or headlight washers. My previous car which was in europe didn't have any options at all, it was the most basic model, didn't even have on board computer, no auto lights, or coming home function, no auto wipers, no seat warmers but it did have xenon lights wich washers, and it had parking sensors in the back only, which I don't think is even available in the US for the 2.0T. It's just frustrating that, I have a much much better car now, and I'm missing stuff that I had before, on one that was so basic.
