Default Intercooler full of oil - covered by emissions warranty?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping for some guidance. I have the 2005 1/2 A4 2.0T with 67,000 miles on it (wonderful miles, I love my car), anyway at this time I had check engine come on and my local mechanic (have ext. warranty and dealer is 45 minutes away) found that my intercooler was full of oil and says that the seals in the turbo(?) have gone bad and I should take it to the dealer and have them replace the turbo under "emissions warranty" meaning anything to do with emissions that fails with the car should be replaced at no charge. I spoke with the service writer at dealer and he said the only thing covered for emissions warranty is catalyct conv. and ECM. Is there somewhere on the web that spells out what is covered under emissions warranty? I'd like to be able to bring that with me to dealer and hopefully Audi will cover it.
Thanks for any help!

If the car has extended warranty, I think it should be covered. Call them back and tell them you have extended warranty on the car and don't mention emission warranty, since intercooler doesn't really fall in "emission" category
