LED Headlights?
Hello Audi people!
It's my first time here and I have couple of questions that I wanted to ask. I already checked some of the threads and couldn't find any similar threads...
1. I love the 2009 headlights. I noticed some of you guys made yourselves the headlights. Do you think I'll be able to buy a pair of 2009 Audi headlights and put them in a 2007 Audi?
2. Will changing headlights have a significant impact on the warranty?
Thank you guys for your time!

Welcome! You can definitely learn a lot here.
To answer your questions:
1) No, the 2009 (B8) headlights won't fit a 2007 (B7) car.
2) Changing headlights shouldn't have a significant impact on warranty for anything except the headlights themselves.

Additional questions:
Has anyone tried to follow the instructions by the Spanish guy who retrofitted his A4 with LED lights? Are there any more instructions out there that are better?
I'm interested but I'd like to know how expensive it is and if it's under my skill range.
I'm a DIY guy but I've never tried anything with cars.

I haven't attempted that, but it doesn't seem that it would be too hard. You'll have to pull the bumper off to take out the headlights, and bake them in the oven for a few minutes to open them. Probably the hardest part would be figuring out where to wire in the LEDs.
I'd never done anything with cars either before I got this car, but it's been a lot of fun learning!

There is a guy on here who did a very nice retrofit. He can do the lights for you or sell you the LED strip so can do it yourself. I believe he even had a DIY.
