Default low oil pressure light 2008 a4 auto quattro

hi guys . going a bit crazy here over this continuing low oil pressure light ? buzzer. when it first happened i took it to a good vw, audi shop. they replaced gas pump lifter and removed oil pan etc for a good cleening and flushing. i got car back and with in 10 km light came back on. returned car , they changes oil pressure sensor, 3 times they have changed out oil pressure sensor . light keeps coming back on. they traced out wire from switch thru fire wall and replaced. still light is coming on. getting ahead of my self this only happens during slowing down. as long as i have revs in the 2k range its ok. also i tride putting car in nutral while slowing down and light didnt come on. if i drive in standard shift and keep revs up no problems. this is costing me a small fortune. any help is appreciated. Gary

Just maybe the oil pressure is a bit low?? Try a thicker oil like 20/50 might help.

Does anyone know where the sensor reads the pressure and how? Wondering if there might be something causing the pressure to drop slightly near the sensor (no idea what that could be). Really seems like you addressed the main issues with exception to replacing the oil pump. Could a defective oil cap or dipstick (not providing a tight seal) cause the sensor to go off?

Low oil pressure reading is caused by 1)bad oil pump, 2) sludged up oil pump pick-up, 3) worn out engine, 4) Bad or plugged-up oil pressure sensor or the wiring. The sensor I believe is near the oil filter and a bit of a pain to get at try cleaning it or I think a new one is about $10. sludged pick-up you need to remove the oil pan and clean it or try a sludge removing additive in your oil then change the oil and filter. With an old tired engine you can try thicker oil like 20/50-20/60 might help for a while or a rebuild. hope that helps
