I recently purchased an '07 A4t, and it's also my first Audi. My question is, what is the optimal oil filter to use? I've heard Rotella is now the preferred synthetic for boosted cars, but nothing on the proper filter. I have more performance knowledge on bikes than I do cars. Any help will be appreciated!!

 

You will need a oil that meets Audi's 502 00 oil speciation. Rotella is not on that list. Also use a good quality filter from the dealer or German company like Mann of Hengst or Mehle. Stay away from crap at Autozone & Fram for Euro Vehicles.
