I am thinking of getting these from the dealer since I live in NYC and any visit to the local dealer will be $$$$$$$ and the roads are so rough around here that I see and endless stream of Audis with wheel problems.

Are there set charges for these plans? I thought there were but the dealer's paperwork makes me think otherwise. $599 for the wheel insurance and $780 for 5 years of maintenance is what they are charging. Any comments? Thanks. Yale

 

I bought the maintenance package with my car... I'm not sure yet whether it was worth it... guess it depends how much they charge for the scheduled maintenance anyway and how much I could have done on my own.

As for wheel insurance, I didn't know they offered it. But I've whacked one of my wheels pretty good a couple times (popped the tire both times) and the wheel still looks fine.
