Default Major gasoline problem...

Hey all,

Been lurking for a while. I have a 2008 A4 FWD CVT as my daily driver. It has a stasis tune. Lately, when I go to fill up my car, the needle will not register the tank as full. I'm also ripping through gas like crazy. I don't seem to see any leaking of gas anywhere thankfully. I vag-commed my car and pulled up a 001089 code, which was a bad EVAP emissions control system (fuel solenoid I believe), had it fixed under warranty, but that still hasn't solved the problem.

Anyone been through the same thing? Any Ideas?

Thanks.

does the needle move at all? does the dashboard computer show the remaining mileage (approx. 400+ miles for a full tank)?
if the compy doesnt show any mileage id guess its an issue with the float in the tank, if it does show mileage then its a dashboard/needle issue.
sorry i have no fixes thou

Thanks for the reply. The dashboard does show the remaining mileage, but it's kooky and jumps around.

There seems to be a slight loss of power...perhaps a pad PCV valve? I had this replaced a while back when I first bought the car in 2010, but the mileage never was so bad like this.
