Thanks for the tips. I'm trying to bank on the state of the current economy and do really need a car. A Volvo 960 is what I've been driving for 9 years now, so anything will be an improvement, and an A4 has always stuck out for me. I have always driven by Stevens Creek Audi, will give it a look this weekend. I'm not in any major rush, but would like to have one by end of April. I wouldn't mind an 07 as well, and prefer the Quattro, but a good deal is really the only make or break for me. No one feature will make me wait.

Do you think its possible to find one in the mid 15k through 20k range or is that just pushing it?

if you plan on modding the car, I would generally suggest Quattro. You will be much better off putting the power down to the ground.

 

dont know about dealer, but like i said on auction you can get low miles 2008 A4 2.0T for anywhere from 17-23K, depending on options and miles. i would say 23k is MAX

 

I haven't had any personal dealings with Penske Audi, but I've heard good things about them.
