Some people say the tranny won't hold up fine even with a K04 upgrade?
What is the known most power out of a Multitronic 2.0 TFSI?

If I use a transmission cooler, do you guys think I can run a GT28R kit safely on the car? with stock internals?

 

K04 should be fine. I met a guy with a B6 who'd had one for several tens of thousands of miles. A guy on another forum got to a little over 400HP before his CVT tore up.

 

Won't souping up the FWD make it harder to drive. I drove a stock FWD cvt loaner, and the way the turbo lagged and suddenly kicked in at about 1800 rpm, I had a devil of a time getting it to take off without breaking the fronts loose. Seems like more power would make it even worse.

 

You just have to not stomp on it from a stand still. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy.
